The works by Elena Carr and Nelly Stein correspond in their narratives of holding, approaching, sharing, carrying, overlaying and condensing. The objects invite haptic experiences and gestures always in ever different. These gestures are made visible through image-text montages or drawings – large or small, on the wall, on the street, across the floors of the Taubenturm, in space and in the spaces in between. Roughly, with the pen pressed so hard on the paper that traces remain. What is captured also appears printed on everyday image carriers and some of it even wanders away.
